Yes! Many of our clients choose to combine their surgery with a relaxing holiday. We can help create a customised itinerary that includes both your medical procedure and leisure activities.

What if I have special medical needs?
Please let us know about any special medical needs or conditions during the booking process. This is vital for surgeons to be aware of any medical needs & medications in use.

What are the payment options for surgery packages?
We offer various payment options, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. A deposit will be required at time of booking, which will depend on booking type. We can also assist you with withdrawal of Kiwisaver for Bariatric Surgery.

Is travel insurance recommended for medical travel?
Yes, we strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance! Travel Insurance in NZ does not cover elective surgery, so any costs arising from surgery, such as complications you will not be covered. However, you would still be covered if your trip was disrupted due to any reason outside of surgery. There are American companies which provide medical insurance for elective surgery.

What if I need to make changes?
Please be advised that should your booking require amendments or need to be cancelled, service fees from myself will apply. This is to cover the work put into your bookings by me, and is in addition to any supplier cancellation or amendment fees that may also apply.
